Our Manufacturing

As contract manufacturers, our engineers want to work directly with our customers’ design teams. Knowing how the instruments and implants will be used is crucial to selecting the production process that will yield the highest-quality product.

We intend to focus on a small number of customers and provide a very high level of customer service to support their growth. We understand that prototypes and custom products may require quick turnaround, and that putting some inventory on the shelf can pay great dividends when a customer has an immediate need. Accommodating a special customer request is the norm, not the exception. We’re only successful if our customers are meeting the needs of their patients and surgeons.

Technology
PMT’s team of dedicated manufacturing engineers and machinists employs state-of-the-art technology to produce the finest instruments and implant devices. PMT’s design and prototyping capabilities are supported with Mastercam CAD/CAM software that is Unigraphics and Pro-E compatible.

Materials
PMT works with a wide variety of materials, including cobalt chromium, titanium, stainless steel, super alloys, silicone, and engineered plastics.

Equipment
PMT has a full complement of Wire EDM, Horizontal and Vertical CNC and Swiss Turning Centers.
