Our History

Precision Medical Technologies was founded in 1993 as Machining Concepts, Inc., to provide wire EDM service to OEMs in Warsaw, Indiana. The business was immediately successful and became well-known locally as a shop capable of providing high-quality, quick-turnaround work at a reasonable price.

In 2003, co-owners Kurt Kamholz and Jeff Thornburgh purchased controlling interest in Machining Concepts and began to expand the offerings and capacity of the firm.

We’re very proud of what has been accomplished under the MCi banner; machining is still a big part of what we do, and we do it well. As PMT, however, we now offer a much greater—and growing—range of services. We combine cutting-edge technology and topnotch service to provide customers with high-quality instruments and implants.

Our Culture

Further, we will continually work to develop a network of communication with our customers by having our manufacturing and quality engineers interface directly with their counterparts. We expect to treat each employee as a long-term member of the PMT team by providing training and development in preparation for promotional growth.
